Ethics Forum International (EFI)

Ethicality is expressed through congruence between intention, action, and impact. We seek to act with honesty, responsibility, and care in all professional and relational contexts.

We engage across professions, perspectives, and ethical traditions without privileging a single framework. We create space for diverse viewpoints and hold complexity without premature resolution.

We recognise the limits of our knowledge and remain open to challenge, feedback, and learning. Ethicality requires ongoing reflection on our assumptions, positions, and influence.

Ethicality is not fixed or achieved once and for all, but continually cultivated. We support ongoing growth in ethical awareness, sensitivity, and practice across individuals, organisations, and systems.

Ethical practice is shaped in relationship. We attend to the impact of our actions on others, recognising interdependence and the responsibilities this creates.

Ethicality is always situated. We engage with the cultural, organisational, and systemic contexts in which practice unfolds, recognising that ethical decisions are rarely abstract.

Ethicality requires the willingness to act, question, and sometimes challenge. We support the development of ethical courage in navigating uncertainty, tension, and complexity.

We view ethicality as a shared endeavour. We contribute to dialogue, learning, and the advancement of ethical practice across professions and societies.
