Sustaining an Independent Pluralistic Ethics Ecosystem
Across professions, cultures, and communities, ethical practice needs spaces where people can think deeply, engage openly, learn continuously, and act with greater awareness and responsibility.
Our ethics ecosystem brings together independent forums, learning, dialogue, research, publishing, recognition, and community initiatives that support ethics and ethicality as lifelong, developmental practice.
Built over several years and reaching an international community, this work is sustained through participation, partnership, and the contributions of those who believe that independent ethical infrastructure matters.
What This Ecosystem Makes Possible
Open Access & Public Good Open-access publishing, free Ethics Circles, live webinars, and publicly available resources create opportunities for ethical learning and reflection beyond institutional or financial boundaries.
Learning, Dialogue & Development Our ethics ecosystem brings together independent forums, learning, dialogue, research, publishing, recognition, and community initiatives that support ethics and ethicality as lifelong, developmental practice.
Community, Recognition & Contribution Built over several years and reaching an international community, this work is sustained through participation, partnership, and the contributions of those who believe that independent ethical infrastructure matters.
Why Your Support Matters
Much of the work across the ethics ecosystem is intentionally open and accessible. Ethics Circles are free to attend. Live webinars are freely available. The Journal of Coaching Ethics is open access. Ethical EDGE Insights becomes openly accessible, and dialogue, research, and learning opportunities are created to extend ethical engagement across professions and communities.
Building and sustaining this work requires real infrastructure: digital platforms, publishing, event delivery, technology, editorial coordination, communications, administration, and the ongoing development of new initiatives. Community support helps make that work possible while protecting its independence and integrity.
How you can Support the Work
Participate Attend events, join dialogues, learn through the Academy of Ethicality, read and share our publications, and take part in the communities and initiatives that make up the wider ethics ecosystem.
Become a Member EFI membership supports the wider ecosystem while connecting you with dialogue, learning, publications, recordings, recognition pathways, and an international community committed to ethics and ethicality.
Make a ContributionDirect contributions help sustain the infrastructure behind open-access publishing, free events and community initiatives, while supporting the continued development of independent ethics work.
Independence Matters
The ethics ecosystem is not funded by a single institution, professional body, or commercial publisher. Its independence creates space for difficult questions, diverse perspectives, critical reflection, and work that can develop in response to what is needed rather than what is commercially or institutionally convenient.
Support from members, participants, partners, readers, and contributors helps protect that independence and enables the ecosystem to continue growing with integrity.
The E&E Sustainability Fund
The Ethics & Ethicality Sustainability Fund (EESF) exists to support the long-term development of independent ethics education, open-access publishing, and global dialogue across the ethics ecosystem.
It enables the practical infrastructure that sustains this work, including editorial coordination, communications, digital platforms, publishing, and community engagement, while protecting independence, integrity, and scholarly depth.
Contributions to the Fund help ensure that this work remains accessible, rigorous, and values-led, rather than dependent on commercial or institutional interests.

A Personal Note
This ethics ecosystem has been built carefully, deliberately, and independently over several years through sustained professional commitment, personal investment, and the contributions of people who have given their time, knowledge, ideas, and support.
What began with a commitment to creating spaces for deeper ethical dialogue has grown into an interconnected ecosystem spanning learning, research, publishing, professional recognition, community engagement, and public dialogue.
The work continues to evolve. Support allows it to move into its next phase with greater stability, stronger infrastructure, and expanded capacity, while protecting the independence, integrity, and depth that have shaped it from the beginning.
If this work has supported your practice, thinking, learning, research, or professional journey, your participation and contribution help ensure that these spaces remain available and continue to grow.
